Crested Butte is a town where the outdoors is a mandatory way of life and where passion for the mountains radiates from everyone around. As “Colorado’s Last Great Ski Town” CB should be on everyone’s list of places to visit, fall, winter or summer (spring not so much).

The community welcomes guests with open arms to enjoy “its special slice of heaven" and to mind their mountain manners. We hope our guests at 10 Sunflower feel this passion and the authenticity of our community. Every day in Crested Butte is a day in paradise!

The Steves brothers, Marshall, Edward and Sam, have always loved Colorado almost as much as their home state of Texas. From their first trip to the 4UR Ranch in the mid '60s they knew that someday they would find a place in the Colorado mountains to call their 2nd home-- That place is Mount Crested Butte.
​
After annually visiting Crested Butte since the early '80s, in 1996 they purchased a condominium at Eagles Nest in Mt. Crested Butte. For twenty years the little condo hosted four generations of the Steves family until the spring of 2016 when the "Sunflower House" was discovered.

The beauty of this place in paradise never ceases to amaze and humble us. We hope you come to love it as much as we do.
